Immunisation
Program overview
The Program offers education and assistance to GPs and Practice staff on immunisation issues such as cold chain management, ACIR, GPII, data cleaning and increasing immunisation rates. The program also aims to increase liaison between all immunisation providers through the Ballarat and District Immunisation Coordination Committee and to promote immunisation in the community.
Practice visits
The Division's immunisation coordinator can visit the practice to explain GPII, the ACIR and assist GPs or staff to increase immunisation rates and practice payments.
We can also provide education support in relation to the National Immunisation Program (NIP).
