- St Vincent's Health have developed GP referral guidelines to help the triage and prioritisation of patients
- Dose administration aids (DAAs) are now free to veterans if 1) veteran is eligible for and has completed HMR, 2) GP writes script for DAA and gets VAPAC authority, and 3) veteran agrees to associated assessment procedures

- Free training to GPs wanting to prescribe methadone or buprenorphine. Involves 2 online units (cat 2 QA&CPD points) on gplearning and 1 day workshop (next workshop is July 26 in Fitzroy). Email for more.
- Workshop 'Motivational interviewing - helping patients improve their health behaviours', on Thurs 4th Sept at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. $185 fully catered, email for more.
