Conference to Tackle Rural Health Workforce Issues

The Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) is holding its Sustainable Solutions in Rural Health Conference in conjunction with the 2008 Victorian Rural Doctors’ Awards on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 May in Melbourne.

The conference, to be opened by Victorian Health Minister Daniel Andrews, will showcase and foster innovation to invest and build capacity in Victoria’s rural health workforce.

Dr Christine Bennett, National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission Chair, will be the keynote speaker.
